Nature Natural Hair Salon was created with the focus of
healthy hair care practices with the clients needs in
mind. We provide a variety of Natural Hair Care Services
which include loc grooming, loc (birth) start, twists,
braids, coils, cornrows. Cuts, trims, treatments,
transitioning services (from chemically treated to
natural) and repair services. We also specialize in
styling, cutting and grooming natural hair. We are here
to service adults and children starting at the age of 4.
The ambience and atmosphere that we have strived to
achieve for our clients should be received as a
peaceful-loving place away from all the confusion of the
day. Knotti by Nature is a place where you can mentally
enjoy your time with us while receiving satisfying
services.
Knotti By Nature Natural Hair Salon has manifested from
the light and visions of two hard-working, well-informed
and ambitious Natural Hair Care Specialist and
Locticians; who saw a need in the local community, due
to the findings of the lack of knowledge, availability
and resources. We wanted to provide a place for
consolation for individuals with Natural Hair or in
transition to be comfortable with their life choice and
in their own space.
Karma, Owner/Operator licensed cosmetologist for 7
1/2 years. She graduated from Mitchell's Hair academy in
2002. After 4 years of working in the industry, she
opened up Nu'Essence Hair Salon in 2006 where she
continued to style natural and relaxed hair. After being
educated by the
Natural Hair care community, attending workshops,
seminars and
hair shows she made
the decision to transition to an all natural hair care
professional in 2008.
La'Shawn, Owner/Operator licensed cosmetologist for 20
years, decided at an early age that she wanted to be a
hairstylist. She attended Mitchell's Hairstyling academy
in Cary NC in 1988. La'Shawn finally found her home at
Rayven Hair Gallery (formerly Another Hair Gallery) in
2005 under the direction and guidance of LaShonda
(Murrell) Alves. During this tenure La'Shawn and Karma
met, became acquaintances and shared ideas and
techniques in the grooming, styling and care and a
mutual love for Natural Hair. In just a few years they
developed a bond and shared a friendship which bloomed
into the concept in birthing an Au Natural Hair Salon.
